The researchers of the knowledge-based company Royesh Gostar Hoorshid began their activities in 2020 under the framework of the research center “Green Iran Movement” in the field of producing and supplying saplings and seedlings of the medicinal plant Capparis in the country. Following continued scientific research and mass production of Capparis medicinal plant seedlings and saplings, the family-owned company Royesh Gostar Hoorshid was established in May 2022. In December of the same year, due to the successful completion of national research projects and increasing the germination rate of Capparis medicinal plant seeds from 3% to over 95%, as well as drafting the germination protocol, the company was recognized as a knowledge-based company by the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Economic Affairs of the Presidential Office.

Currently, Royesh Gostar Hoorshid, a knowledge-based company, is the largest producer of Capparis medicinal plant saplings and seedlings in the country, with a production capacity of over three million saplings in the provinces of Alborz and Tehran.

Furthermore, in line with the company’s goal of “producing value-added products,” the production of wild artichoke seedlings, goji berry saplings, and ginger saplings is also underway.
